Information Accuracy

When you register, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Submitting false or misleading information constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, OTP codes, and any connected third-party authentication (such as Google). All activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility, whether or not authorized by you.

Security Incident Reporting

You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account, suspected breach of credentials, or any other security incident that may affect the integrity of your account or the Service.

Age Requirement

The Service is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Right to Verify

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to immediately suspend or terminate access for any user who does not meet this requirement.

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard and widely accepted security measures and protection technologies to reasonably safeguard the confidentiality of your account data, website analyses, and generated articles. The user understands that no digital environment is entirely impenetrable, and that the Service makes use of third-party models (LLMs); accordingly, the user undertakes not to input highly sensitive information into the Service (such as direct credit card details, protected trade secrets, or medical information).

Your Data Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, in accordance with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law). Requests should be submitted to our support team. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

Access Upon Payment

Full access to article generation and site analysis features is granted automatically upon successful payment confirmation and account setup. Free-tier access is available without payment, subject to usage limits.

AI Output Disclaimer

VellumUp uses AI to generate SEO content based on your inputs. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publishing. VellumUp is not liable for SEO outcomes, ranking changes, or business results arising from the use of generated content.

Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be available continuously, without interruption, errors, or delays. Temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, or factors beyond our control. VellumUp shall not be liable for any loss of data, revenue, or damages arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.

7.1 General Right of Cancellation

You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided you have not made substantial use of the Service as defined in Section 7.2 below.

7.2 Substantial Use Exclusion

Given the nature of the Service as a digital content generation platform, the right to a refund is void if you have made substantial use of the Service prior to the refund request.

Substantial use of the Service includes, but is not limited to: generating more than 25 articles, or consuming AI credits exceeding 50% of the purchased plan's allowance during a trial period or within the first 14 days from the date of purchase.

In such cases, VellumUp reserves the right to decline the refund request on the grounds that the digital service has been fully delivered and the content consumed.

7.3 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refund is issued for unused days in the current cycle if the Service has already been used during that period.

Liability Cap

The Service and its outputs are provided "as is" and on an availability basis only. The user hereby declares and agrees that use of the Service, AI-generated outputs, and information derived from the website is at the user's sole responsibility and full risk. The user irrevocably, unconditionally, and permanently waives any and all claims, demands, or actions against VellumUp, its directors, or employees for any damages (direct, indirect, consequential, financial, reputational, or SEO ranking losses). In any event where a court or applicable law determines that VellumUp bears liability for any damages, its total and final liability for any single incident or series of incidents shall in no case exceed the amount actually paid by the user for the Service in the 30 days preceding the incident.

Content and Publishing Decisions

You are solely responsible for all decisions regarding the editing, use, and publication of AI-generated content. VellumUp does not guarantee specific SEO results, search engine rankings, or traffic outcomes. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

No Professional Advice

AI-generated articles are intended as a starting point for your content strategy. They do not constitute legal, financial, medical, or regulated professional advice of any kind. Do not rely on generated content as a substitute for qualified expert guidance.

Accuracy and Fact-Checking

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before publication. VellumUp makes no warranties regarding the factual correctness, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any generated article.

No Agency or Partnership

Use of the Service does not create an agency, partnership, employment, or contractor relationship between you and VellumUp. We are a software provider — the content you publish is your responsibility.
