Do I need to install anything to use these?

No npm package to add. Each component's page shows the actual code: copy it into your project and adjust it to fit. A few components use a small external library (react-markdown for the blog post layout, react-icons for the table of contents), and that is stated on the component's own page, not hidden until you try to run it.

Will these work outside of Next.js?

Most of the layout and card components are plain React and CSS, so they work in any React project with light adjustment. The webhook receiver routes are written specifically for the Next.js App Router's route handler format, and would need to be adapted to a different framework's routing convention.

Is the code production-ready, or just a demo?

It's the real code VellumUp runs in its own product, not a simplified demo. That said, always read through a component before shipping it, especially the webhook receivers, which handle real payloads and signature verification and are worth understanding fully rather than copying blind.
